Chrysler: from Sebring to 200

Chrysler brand has been undergoing some significant changes in recent years, particularly as Chrysler Group restructures after trial for its 2009 bankruptcy. This course has changed forever, American manufacturer Chrysler, now partly owned by Fiat, but firmly under the control of the Italian production giant.

Chrysler survival

Let us mention the obvious: the Fiat not intervened, Chrysler would have been toast. The Obama administration is ready to let Chrysler die if no suitor stepped forward. In this case this person is Sergio Marchionne, the charismatic Fiat Chief who is now also headed to Chrysler.

Chrysler almost does not accept to survive 2010 model year as production is stopped or reduced and tenders for the design cut back or does not change. Since the year of the model deteriorated, sales began to recover as customers begin to feel confident that the automaker will be around for the long haul.

Although 2010 is quiet when it came to product updates, will not be 2011. In fact most Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep models have been updated or changed, representing the most ambitious change ever undertaken by Chrysler in the model of one year.

Chrysler Sebring

Chrysler Sebring is one model, the cranks for major changes, shall be carried out two things: Sebring now is "200" to reflect a stronger connection with a piece of "300" sedan. In addition 200 enjoys numerous changes both inside and outside updates which we will cover here.

Choice of engine -2.4-liter inline four returns and is related to, or four or six-speed automatic transmission. Select the last, if you want better fuel economy; the speed four is wanted and outdated and must not have been proposed with 200. Optional, is a new V-6 3.6-liter engine rated at 283 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque with Chrysler 200.

Suspension upgrades -any Chrysler 200 model enjoys improved driver and suspension setting for outgoing Chrysler Sebring. New rear sway bar, stiffened body months and new tires provide improved driver. New deadening materials minimize outside noise, vibration and harshness managed.

Type of outside -a new grille, headlamps, Hood and deck lid will distinguish between 200 of Chrysler Sebring, the necessary changes to enable this we accept sedan new look. With strong competition from the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, Hyundai Sonata, Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Malibu Chrysler contender in crowded assuming you need a sedan segment.

Upgrade of the cab -"Cheap" is best describes Sebring Interior more often than not, since Chrysler put the plastic instead of the class with this model. 200 moves from that earlier decision, the employment of soft touch materials for the upgrade of the Interior. New instrument panel with fresh mud, improvements to the door panels and arm is, and more convenient locations will help distinguish 2011 Chrysler 200.

Nip/Tuck

The Chrysler 200 is more than midcycle refresh then the complete change for the sedan, but with a new name, fresh look, an updated V-6 engine with internal and custom may be differentiated this model sufficient to customers back to the Chrysler brand.
