Chrysler's project is a film based on competition, which focuses on new emerging filmmakers in the United States through the development of the original short film that features Chrysler-branded vehicles together with Chrysler auto parts. Among the hundreds of entries the judges losses down selection and chose five finalists that will continue their ultimate purpose for the transaction for the production of the film one million dollar courtesy of Chrysler motors and Silverwood films.

The five Finalists will now enter the second stage of the contest, where they will manage and edit three-to five-minute short movie that will be characterized by some of the vehicles of Chrysler brand vehicles, which include the 2007 Chrysler Aspen and Chrysler Sebring. Records of the movie will be assessed under the originality of the film, in the level of interest of the story, as well as the overall quality of the movie. The overall winner of Chrysler's project will soon be announced for this September.
Derek Cianfrance is one of the five Finalists. Its entry is titled "Blue Valentine". The film "we are neighbours" was created by Paul Fitzgerald. Jonathan Jardine is behind the movie "the touch", while Pamela Smith is the work of the film "the love of the specifications". The meaning of the movie record "Dirty girl" was Abe Sylvia that project.
